Is your Holiday Email Marketing Campaign Ready? It should be.

I know, I know, you are thinking "What, it isn’t even Labor Day yet!".  It may seem early, but in order to compete you need to start early and you need to plan even earlier.  You do not want to start thinking about what you are going to do November 1.  You should already be doing it.

Start with this Checklist
Start working on optimizing your e-mail programs.  Now is a great time to create and test email strategies.  Test different subject lines, test different offers.  Which works better for you - 10% off or $10 off?  Having an idea of what triggers sales for your email list will help you to have a better holiday season.  November is not the time to be testing.  That is the time to be knowing.

Give your E-mail Messages a Facelift
If you send the same old email message out month after month, people will start to ignore it or even assume it is the same old stuff.  You want to keep a general look so they know who it is from, but you need to jazz it up with different fonts, colors and images.

Improve the email content, too. Your e-mails should say more than "Buy Now!"

Plan Your Holiday Campaign Strategy

Set deadlines for creative work and know what offers you will be sending and when, including execution dates. Review what has worked in the past and think about how you can improve on them.

Ideas from Holidays Past

How you promote your products and services for the holiday is open to your imagination.  The important thing is to start thinking and planning for it now.  Don’t wait until it is too late and have to play catch up with your competitors who are planning now.
